Hasegawa 1/48 F-8E Crusader. A really enjoyable build. This one took just under 3 weeks to complete.

Crusader F-8E

1/48 Hasegawa F-8E Crusader. This particular one was part of VF-191, based on USS Ticonderoga

Quite a lot of decals on this aircraft, typical of Hasegawa's decal sheets, I personally think it looks quite good with them all on. Just another error while I think about it, the hook on the nose wheel only existed on the later model Crusaders, as usually, only found this out once it was too late...

Quite an attractive view. Just to note, The engine part sticking out shouldn't be, it should be flush with the back of the aircraft. One usually finds these things out after the model is finished...

Undersides F-8E kitset.

Under wing F-8 Crusader.

Seatbelts were built from wine bottle lid. Other than that, straight out the box
