Front view of big time operator, the model sat on its nose after a nose full of rifle shot lead was put inside, if you shake the model it sounds like a childs toy... I didn't need to fill the back of the engines. Quite a striking colour scheme I think.

B-29 plan view. 1/72 scale is a good size for this aircraft. Painted with Alclad 2. This aircraft was named big time operator and flown from tinnian 1945. The 9th bomb group had a white tail tip, and engine cooling fins

The academy 1/72 b-29 port side rear. The kit was straight forward to build, as usual any errors were mine, still learning to airbrush, so some teething errors with the paint. Quite happy overall.

Wing detail. The Port side engine is supposed to look like it was on fire at some stage. alclad 2 paint was used over the entire model. The wing strut was duraliminium, pressureised compartments were polished aliminium, and the overall colour was dark aliminium with a little polished aliminium to bring up the colour

The b-29's massive tail. The decals went on very well, micro sol and set were used.

Engine detail. The only complaint I have with the engines is there is no mounting brackets inside the nacelle. Good detailed engine though
