Showing a little engine detail. This unfortunatly is the issue with this kitset, the engine is a single stage supercharger like in the MkV spitfire, it should be a twin stage, as this is a MkIX. Also, once the engine was secured in place I discovered the actual size of the engine was physically too small. It looks the part and unless mentioned most people wouldn't notice the difference. The exhaust stacks I drilled out to add realism, the kit plastic is very easy to work with.
